Public Folders App App Reviews

I was looking for an app on iPad and iPhone to access our public calendar and the company address book (public folders). After configuring the app I saw all folders, but: Accessing the contact folder always lead to a crash of the app Opening a recurring appointment always leads to a crash of app No option to add a new appointment in public calendar I have all necessary privileges for our public folders, but no way to use the app. So I wasted 5,-..:(( BTW: I installed it on the iPad 3 and iPhone 4s, same results...

This is a decent app to be able to VIEW public folders and items, but we NEED the ability to edit items. We use this app to share public contacts for our company which has many "in the field" sales reps. We need the ability to be able to update contacts (the "Notes" field) so that all of our reps are on the same page when they go to visit our various customers. Please get this functionality added and itll be a 5 Star app.

I wish I had found this app sooner. My boss and I bought another app that is supposed to access Public Folders for twice this price. It never worked, and support would not respond. We have asked for refunds, but again, no response. This app does the job better, works flawlessly, and is half the price of the other non-functioning app. Thank you for doing things right!

Works exactly like I need it to. Our company files email using public folders. I have access everywhere and can forward as needed. Simply perfect for my use.

Just viewing event on the calendar is a bit useless... Should be able to see with my other calendars too!. Definitely not a full function calendar and contacts tool.

This app is junk! It loads fine and finds the shared calendar I want to access but only shows half of the appointments and doesnt update them when there is a change. Emailed customer support for help and got no reply, this is totally worthless!!!

I can see all contents of the subfolders but not the main public folder.

Doesnt work with hosted exchange 2007, no answer from support after repeated emails.

It only allows one mail account, so if you have more than one exchange account that you need to view, be aware. Also, the left pane is not resizeable, so if your folders have long names, you cannot see all of the name. The Bookmarks are not editable in terms of what they say - only that you can delete them. So you cant make the folder name more readable three, either. But the product does what it says it does.

Support needs to improve. Our 6 person team bought this app and eventually found it to be useless. Calendar is "view only" and it doesnt support different views which makes it difficult to view appointments. We eventually went to iCloud for our calendar system which so far works like a dream. I would not recommend this app as it is very basic and needs lots of improvement on features.

Cant view details on longer lists of events. The scrolling feature falls short of allowing you to select individual appointment if you have more than 8 appointments in a day. Not updated for ios6. Inoperable. No tech support response.

The main reason for the 1-star rating is that tech support does not respond to support requests or questions. Most types of public folders work fine, but there are issues with Calendar folders. Calendar folders do not display recurring appointments & events (only the first occurrence is displayed, but recurring occurrences are not displayed). The only available view is Monthly. You cannot add or edit the calendar. Recent updates through 2.0.6 have not resolved these issues. If Calendar folders worked properly, this would be a very useful app.

Bought the app expecting to be able to see a task list in public folders. Looks like it only shows calendars and contacts but since we dont use those I cant confirm if it actually works. Email to tech support returned nothing.

"View Only" & support services wouldnt even get a star.. VERY POOR SERVICE!!

As advertised and with a nice presentation. The biggest flaw for our use is that it does not display recurring calender entries. Until them, we cannot recommend it in our firm.

All I need it for was to view notes for shared contacts and it does that well.

Really people, something simple like displaying recurring events. Any possibility of responding to this issue or better yet getting this issue fixed as you do charge for your application so one would think you would actually support and fix issues.

This app will only let you see the public calendar. You can not edit or make changes to it. If you are in a different time zone, you will see errors in the dates as a single day event will show across two days. Very confusing. Not worth downloading even if its free. Needs lots of work.

As in other review of this app- I really like it, and most of our company would use it....... Except you cannot see recurring appointments after the first occurrence. Too bad.. They would probably sell a lot more copies of this app if it worked right, it is a great idea. PLEASE FIX THIS, Fortek!
